Why the center follows different rules
The ordinary canvas is designed for a low-friction decision: a standard 10×10 square costs $10. The exact center is intentionally excluded from that ordinary inventory. Its opening is a separate event, and the price and purchase mechanics shown when it opens govern the transaction. We will not invent demand, display a fake bidder, or claim the area is scarce for a reason other than its fixed size and unique location.
There are one hundred standard-size 10×10 positions inside a 100×100 area. There is only one central area on the map. That is why the center should not be treated like a random square near an edge. The value is not a promise of clicks. It is the fact that every future screenshot of the complete canvas has a literal middle, and whoever occupies it becomes part of that composition.
The near-center border is available now
Waiting for September 1 is one valid choice. Buying near the locked outline before it opens is another. The ring around the center has a front-row relationship to the event without being part of the reserved area. When the middle changes from an opening notice to live artwork, its neighbors remain exactly where they were.
A near-center placement works best when the artwork can be recognized at a glance. A small mark facing inward, a short name plate along one side, or a color that contrasts with the opening boundary can establish a visual address. The correct choice depends on what you want the screenshot to say, not on a claim that any location guarantees attention.
Choose now or wait with clear eyes
If your goal is simply to become an early owner for the smallest standard price, select an available edge, corner, or near-center square now. If owning the literal middle matters more than the uncertainty of the opening mechanics, wait for September 1 and read the displayed rules before participating. Both choices are honest. The only impossible choice is buying a location after somebody else has permanently claimed it.
The center date is useful because it gives the young canvas a public chapter. Before September 1, it is the outlined promise at the middle. On and after September 1, it becomes a record of what happened. The map will show the result without needing manufactured urgency. Until then, every standard available square around it remains a real, selectable place.
